Welcome to Gold Coast

Gold Coast is one of two officer communities offered to Pax River residents. This community is located on base along the Chesapeake Bay and Patuxent River. 

Each spacious three- to four- bedroom single-family home includes air-conditioning and a washer/dryer hookup.  Many homes  rest right on the water, and several have recently been renovated.

While Gold Coast is a pet friendly community, breed restrictions apply with a two pet maximum per household. On base amenities include a pool, full size gym, vibrant community center, and Navy exchange.

There are numerous shopping and dining opportunities in the nearby town of California, Maryland, along with several K-12 schools and St. Mary’s Hospital.

In addition, many camping, golfing, hiking and other outdoor adventures await for the entire family on nearby Solomon’s Island. With Washington D.C a scenic one hour drive away, the Gold Coast community is a wonderful place to settle in scenic Southern Maryland.
