Located a mile from Naval Station Norfolk off of Hampton Blvd., the Ben Morrell Community is one of five in the Naval Station District. It consists of 388 two-story, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom townhomes, with 20 that are handicap accessible. It is a pet friendly community with a two pet maximum.

Homes feature carpet, parquet and vinyl floor coverings, mini blinds and ceiling fans, a utility room for full-size washer and dryer hook-up, fenced backyard, outdoor storage closet and single-car garage.  Kitchens come with gas range, refrigerator, dishwasher and garbage disposal.

Amenities include a community center with ASYMCA-sponsored programs for children from toddler to teen, playgrounds, picnic pavilion, fitness trail and basketball courts, pool access in adjoining Norwich Manor neighborhood and a gym located on nearby Naval Station Norfolk.  The NEX and Commissary are located off base, only two miles from the community.  Within a 5-10 mile radius is numerous shopping centers, beaches, parks, and the Virginia Zoological Park.
